If delivered work does not match the brief you confirmed, it is corrected at no charge. This is part of the Terms of Service (section 6), and it applies to every order.

What is corrected free of charge

Anything where the delivered work does not match the brief you confirmed:

  • wrong facts
  • the wrong tone
  • the wrong emphasis
  • any other mistake on our side

Tell us, and we correct it.

What counts as new work

Work that is materially different from the brief you confirmed is new work, and is quoted separately:

  • a new offer
  • a new audience
  • a new topic
  • a rewrite of a piece you approved

We always tell you which of the two we think a request is before doing anything, so there is no surprise on the bill.

Examples

These examples are for illustration:

Request Correction or new work
The article describes your product incorrectly Correction
The tone is more formal than the brief asked for Correction
The article dwells on a subject you asked us to play down Correction
You now want the article written for a different audience New work
You want an article on a topic that was not in the brief New work
You approved a piece on the Pro level and now want it rewritten New work

Raise it in good time

Please raise a correction within a reasonable time of delivery, so it can be put right while the order is fresh.

How to ask for a correction

Email mail@seovider.com with:

  1. the live link of the piece, from your delivery report
  2. what is wrong
  3. what it should say instead
  4. for a fact, where the correct information comes from

The more exact the request, the easier it is to put right.

Facts you gave us

Everything we write about your business comes from what you tell us and from our own research. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the facts you give us. If a fact you supplied was wrong, or has changed since, tell us: we say whether we see the change as a correction or as new work before doing anything.

Catching problems before publishing

On the Pro level, every piece waits for your approval before it is published, so you can ask for changes before anything goes live. See Reviewing work before it is published (Pro).

Refunds

A correction is the remedy for work that does not match the brief. The Terms describe refunds for an order we cannot take on, and for work we stop under our acceptable use rules. See Paying for an order, and when a payment fails.
