Every article is published in one of two places: on a blog in our network, or on your own dedicated blog if you have one with us. You choose for each order.
On a blog in our network
The article is published on a blog in our network, and its live link goes into your delivery report. This is the simplest way to start: there is nothing to set up on your side.
- Hosting. The network blogs are hosted on our infrastructure and stay under our operational control. We may move, re-address or maintain network sites as needed. If that happens, we keep your published links working, or supply replacements where that is not possible.
- Which blog. Each article's live link in your report shows the blog it was published on.
- Links to your website. An article can link to a page on your website. Tell us the page, and the exact anchor text if you have a preference.
- Ownership. You own the writing. The published copy stays hosted with us so that the links you were given keep working, and you can ask us for the text at any time. See Who owns the content.
On your own dedicated blog
A dedicated blog costs $94 for its first year: a blog under your brand, set up, hosted, secured and backed up for that year, and launched with three articles. Later articles are ordered separately, at the usual article and pack prices, and any article you order can be published there.

What happens on publishing, in both cases
- The article gets a search-friendly title and description.
- It gets internal links to related articles.
- It is added to that blog's sitemap.
- Its live link goes into your delivery report.

Availability
The Terms of Service (section 7) state that we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and that brief maintenance interruptions can occur.

What publishing does not include
Publishing puts the article live, on a blog's sitemap, with its link in your report. How search engines treat it after that is their decision, not ours, and we do not promise rankings or traffic.
